Pokemon repetitions

Image
I found repetitions annoying as a kid but can tolerate it better as an adult.  I watched it live on broadcast TV as a kid versus fast-forwarding through repetitive portions on streaming sites.  For Brock always falling in love, I wrote an alternative storyline in my fanfic as an adult.

Pokemon and Digimon

Image
Pokemon tended to go after games based on its franchise (ripoffs).  Palworld (basically Pokémon with guns) and Nintendo had some legal issues surrounding patents.  Try to make it creative but not rip off something else. Pokemon and Digimon were different.  Digimon had evolutions that were temporary before they revert back to lower stage but Pokemon evolutions were permanent.  Digimon was the digital world connected to the real world so the characters have stakes like Digimon Tamers and Digimon Adventure 2020.  Pokemon was set in fictional world.

Pokemon Hoopa

Image
Moral of movie: You can't destroy family.  It was battle between Hoopa and itself to understand family. I seen the trailer and said I got to watch the battle among the legendaries from different generations like Lugia (generation 2); Rayquazza and the Eon Twins (generations 3) plus Groudon and Kyorge.  When you got legendaries fighting legendaries, next logical conclusion was to pit multiple legendaries against each other and mega evolve them and etc. Team Rocket didn't do their mottos in the movie.  If they did, I would fast-forward since I'm watching online since I know who they are.

Observations

Image
Police procedurals tended to have newbies joining the team Numb3rs:  David Sinclair (season 1 - black guy); Colby Granger (season 2); Megan Reeves (season 2 - woman) CSI: NY: Lindsey Monroe (season 2 - woman) after Aiden left FBI: International: Cameron Vo (season 1 - woman) Numb3rs ' female cast tended to not stick around behavior analyst (Terry Lake) left at end of season 1 left she was replaced by Megan Reeves (who left in season 4) Liz Warner joined in season 3 but I felt like her actress was guest cast early on Amita was only one to stick around but why do I feel like she was guest cast early on as well I always liked foreign humor and slapstick humor and sex jokes.   FBI: International had foreign detective from season 1, episode 7 saying "Asylum?  What is that - an energy drink?"  Creative joke.

Smallville - Ambush review

Image
How much it's important Chloe working watchtower meant to Oliver ,,, it must be tough walking away from it especially if he has a big target on his back.  Correct me if I'm wrong?  I thought Oliver had money so of course paparazzi would be all over him.  He and Clark both had tracking tattoos as well, so shouldn't Clark stay away unless he got tracked to the Watchtower.

History of shows I watch

Image
Numb3rs ended Emergence ended (wandering about second season, waking up robot who had Helen's ability) CSI: NY ended Wartime Farm ended Smallville ended (but has comic books for season 11) Cold Case ended Digimon unknown Pokemon is still running (airing Horizons right now) Totally Spies did season 7 recently (trying to find episodes for season 7) I haven't been posting Pokemon recently in my blog if anyone noticed.

Numb3rs

Image
Numb3rs had interesting dialogue in the police procedural "common sense to not wave stick in front of crocodile" (Ash's Totodile biting Ash on the head - it's on my social media accounts - should help you remember) calculating stopping distance from mass and velocity (Charlie described as math problem while I thought it was physics problem too) from the train crash episode ("36 hours") was talking about script writing software which one of the leads, Rob Morrow, has been working on ("Where's Credit Due") For "36 Hours", I pointed out a train crash did happen in real life in California - Metrolink crash in 2008 in September.  Airing an episode about a train crash when a train crash happened in real life is probably not good idea, so the episode was pushed several episodes later.  One of the actors did film a disclaimer at the beginning of the episode.  I wished my mom who passed away understood trains - like Amtrak - have long stoppin...
