Scooby Doo on Zombie Island

Image
Since it's almost Halloween, I spent gift card on Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island which sounds spooky for the season.  The ghosts and zombies were scaring Scooby and the gang off the island which was inhabitated by Lena and her cat zombies.  Reanimating the dead spooky. The zombies were actually real which scared me when younger.

Inception

Image
This is probably the only theory that makes sense about Inception.  The whole movie is a flashback - Cobb's flashblack of the Saito extraction and the Fischer inception - which lead to Cobb entering limbo.  The kicks waking up the dreamers destroyed Cobb's limbo - the city skyscrapers falling apart - and replaced it with Saito's limbo.  It is assumed Cobb and Saito shot themselves to wake up from limbo.

Pokemon

Image
I might be an older fan of Pokemon .  Pokemon had 4Kids Entertainment, TAJ productions, and other production companies that made the American / English dub. In the 4Kids dub, I liked the theme songs.  In the Pokemon Company International version, I found the voices tolerable. I was used to the 4Kids version.  The censorship of the sex and violence didn't bug me.  Pokemon was a kids franchise on network television for the first 8 seasons.  Did you really expect Pokemon to be oozing with sex and violence? The only thing that bugged me was the Americanizing the Japanese food.  4Kids called a form of sushi "Jelly donuts".  I been in enough Asian restaurants as an adult to know what sushi (especially onigiri as depicted in the show) looked like. I mostly been watching Pokemon Master Qiest (season 5) Pokemon Sinnoh League Victors Pokemon Journeys Pokemon Horizons I avoided Pokemon Battle Frontier (season 9) because I didn't like the voices (I was more likely to point ou

CSI: NY 333 Storyline

Image
I wanted to talk about CSI: NY 's season 4 storyline, the 333 stalker.  I wondered how Mac's stalker, Drew Bedford, knew Mac's hotel rooms he was staying in's phone number cell phone's # office's phone # office location I guess he used Stella's office card to guess Mac's office number and office location to call him and leave the luggage with the bloody t-shirt.  He could have called the area hotels and asked if Mac Taylor was staying in one of the rooms. The bloody t-shirt belonged to Will, Andy's brother who died.  The chalk outline was of Will, and the newspaper satchel belonged to Will.  The dead body was Bobby Toole - the man who killed Will.

TV Shows and Movies in General

For the English TV shows and movies, I can watch the movie or episode in one tab and be browsing the internet in another tab because I understand English.  I may watch the scenes if there's a lot of action scenes. It gets harder for me when watching foreign shows and movies with subtitles.  Because I don't know the language, I'm reliant on reading the subtitles telling me what the characters are saying, so I can't be browsing in another tab.  Digimon Adventure (2020) is one of few shows where I'm watching the subtitles.  When I had hulu subscription, I had seen the dubbed version for Digimon Adventure (2020).  For the first two seasons of Digimon , I mostly seen the dubbed English version.

Cold Case Musings

Image
I am reviewing  Cold Case , the CBS show about cold cases the Philadelphia homicide detectives worked on.  Spoilers alert.  I first saw the show on HBO Max but found roku had the full episodes for free, so rewatched the show. Season 1, Episode 3 - "Our Boy is Back" The perp had to be brave bragging to the police that he's back in Philadelphia raping women.  I think he wanted to get caught because of his demons. Season 2 Scotty was humping his coworker's sister, Christina.  I'm not sure I would be brave enough to hump family members of my coworkers. Season 3, Episode 23 - "Joseph" The chemistry / scene between Lily Rush and her partner, Scotty Valens, when Scotty is at Lily's home after she called in sick was awkward at the end.
